Alicia Adams Alpaca

If one of the senses reigns supreme, perhaps it is the sense of touch.  Tactile experiences are not to be taken for granted.... let us introduce you to
Alicia Adams Alpaca

Soft doesn't begin to describe these irresistible products!

'Alpaca, one of the world’s most luxurious fabrics, is a jewel amid all the synthetic fibers and harsh materials found in our everyday lives. Softer than cashmere, and available in a wide array of colors, alpaca serves as a natural thermostat by using microscopic air pockets to trap body heat in cooler temperatures and to release heat in warmer weather.'

'Alicia Adams Alpaca Inc. raises and manages its own herd of over 200 suri alpacas at the family farm in New York’s Hudson Valley. The farm is comprised of 80 acres of rolling meadows, dense woods and beautiful ponds, and is also home to Alicia Adams and her family.'

'The world of high fashion cherishes alpaca not only for its scarcity but also for its natural attributes: its fineness, durability, and hypoallergenic and lightweight qualities. Alpaca comes in 24 shades of naturally occurring fiber as alpacas range from white through all shades of grey and brown to black.

The animals are docile and friendly, easy to keep and fun to farm.'

'Alicia and her family moved to New York in 2006 from Germany where they started raising and breeding Suri alpacas – one of the world’s rarest breeds. While her husband built the breeding business, turning it into one of the leading Suri breeding programs in the United States, Alicia embarked on creating Alicia Adams Alpaca in 2009. Raised and educated in Mexico, Europe and the United States, and with a background in fashion PR, Alicia adds an urban edge to her classic designs.'
